Alhamdulillah! In celebration of the blessed Mawlid un-Nabi ﷺ — the birth of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ — volunteers of Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) took the joy of Mawlid to the streets by serving food and refreshments to our homeless and less-privileged brothers and sisters. ❤️

For someone living on the streets, a meal is more than food. It is warmth, dignity, compassion, and a reminder that they have not been forgotten.

Under the guidance and inspiration of Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi QS, FZHH strives to make Mawlid a living celebration—expressing our love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ through generosity, compassion, and service to Allah's creation.

Every week, volunteers of Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) rescue thousands of pounds of fresh, nutritious food that might otherwise go to waste—including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat, and baked goods.

Our volunteers collect the food, bring it to our warehouse, carefully sort and prepare it, and then distribute it to families with children, seniors, individuals with special needs, and others facing hardship.

🍎 Food that could have been wasted becomes meals on family tables.

🥛 Fresh dairy reaches seniors and individuals struggling with rising living costs.

🥩 Meat, fruits, vegetables, and baked goods help families provide nutritious meals for their children.

But none of this happens without transportation.

The food was carefully brought to our warehouse, sorted, and then distributed to seniors and families facing hardship throughout the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, Canada.

Every pound of food rescued is a blessing transformed into nourishment. Every box delivered brings relief to a family and reminds those facing difficult times that their community cares for them.

Alhamdulillah, the volunteers of Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) rescued, sorted, repackaged, and distributed more than 7,000 pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, beef, and chicken to families in need in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

What could have gone to waste became nutritious meals for households facing financial hardship. Every box of fresh food delivered brought relief, dignity, and hope to families who needed a helping hand.

This is only possible through the mercy of Allah (AJ) and the generosity of supporters who believe that no family should go hungry while good food can still be rescued and shared.

Under the guidance and inspiration of Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi QS, FZHH continues to transform compassion into action by serving communities across British Columbia and supporting humanitarian projects around the world.
