WHO WE ARE
Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) is a volunteer-based charitable program dedicated to serving those in need across the globe.
Inspired by the compassionate example of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and founded by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi of the Naqshbandi Vancouver Center, FZHH strives to bring love, hope, and care to humanity through its diverse projects. Our programs are designed to be accessible to anyone in need, regardless of background.
Guided by the values of compassion and unity, we are committed to making a difference and expanding our reach to help even more communities worldwide.
Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) operates as a program initiative under the legal authority granted by Sufi Meditation Centers Society, a registered Canadian charity, and Mystic Meditation, a registered U.S. charity.
VISION
Guided by the timeless values of the Holy Qur’an and prophetic tradition, our vision is to uplift the impoverished, strengthen communities for a resilient future, and provide unconditional love and support to people in need, regardless of their backgrounds.
MISSION
Our mission is to help the less fortunate break the cycle of poverty and achieve dignity by providing access to necessities of life, including food, water, shelter, health and wellness opportunities, and education. Our mission is carried out by developing global initiatives to support the most vulnerable communities. Our mandate includes local volunteers on the ground to help execute programs while offering a personal connection to those in need.
2025 GLOBAL IMPACT
Expanding Hope, Nourishing Communities Worldwide
Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) continued to expand its global impact in 2025 through diverse humanitarian programs serving communities across North America, Africa, and Asia.
Our core initiatives—including food rescue and redistribution, grocery hampers, direct meal service, Qurbani programs, water well installations, Ramadan outreach, and support for orphans—provided essential relief while promoting dignity and stability.
Communities around the world also continued to gather through our global Mawlid an Nabi ﷺ programs, celebrating faith and unity. This year further marked the launch of the Masjid of the Rising Sun initiative in California, a meaningful step in strengthening community connection and service.
2025 ACHIEVEMENTS
PAKISTAN
Access to clean water and basic healthcare can mean the difference between survival and suffering. By expanding safe water access across the country and delivering essential medical care to orphans, these programs protect families from preventable illness, ease daily hardship, and give vulnerable children a healthier, more hopeful start to life.
From improving living spaces for orphans to providing food, winter clothing, and Ramadan meals, these services restore dignity and security for those facing adversity. By nurturing families, caring for children without support, and honoring meaningful traditions, this work builds resilience, belonging, and hope within communities.
INDIA
Providing daily meals, Ramadan support, and grocery kits helps families facing difficulty regain stability and dignity. By easing hunger for women, children, orphans, and those without shelter, these programs offer more than food—they deliver comfort, consistency, and hope, helping people feel seen, supported, and cared for during their most vulnerable moments.

From Qurban distributions to educational support and community celebrations, these initiatives strengthen both physical well-being and emotional resilience. Nourishing bodies, supporting learning, and creating moments of joy helps restore belonging and confidence, empowering children and families to look toward the future with renewed hope and a sense of community.

KENYA
Community food initiatives strengthened food security for vulnerable families by distributing essential groceries and nutritious foods during key times of need. Seasonal programs supporting Suhoor, Iftar, and Qurban traditions helped households observe meaningful cultural and religious practices while improving access to nourishment and supporting community well-being.

As part of a new 2025 initiative focused on supporting orphaned girls, programs provided essential groceries and hygiene supplies during Ramadan, bringing care and stability to vulnerable residents of a children’s home. Eid celebrations were made joyful through special gift distributions, allowing orphans to participate in cherished traditions and feel included, valued, and supported within their community.

CALIFORNIA – MASJID OF THE RISING SUN
In 2025, Mystic Meditation Inc. broke ground on the establishment of a faith-based farm, the Masjid of the Rising Sun.
Rooted in the tradition of khidmat (selfless service), this project promotes the spiritual growth and religious guiding of Sufi students through manual labor, craftsmanship, and simple living.
The projected opening of the Masjid will be early 2026.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
