❤️ Ashura, Ahlul Bayt (a.s), & Shuhada-e-Karbala Food Relief Series #5 🇨🇦
Alhamdulillah, in honor of Ashura, Imam Hussain (as), Ahlul Bayt (a.s), and the blessed Shuhada-e-Karbala, the volunteers of Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) rescued, sorted, repackaged, and distributed more than 3,000 pounds of fresh vegetables, fruits, and bakery items to families in need throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
What could have gone to waste was transformed into thousands of pounds of nutritious food reaching households facing financial hardship. This is the spirit of Karbala—turning compassion into action, serving humanity with sincerity, and ensuring that no blessing is wasted when it can become a mercy for someone else.
As Food Relief Series #5, this initiative continues FZHH's commitment to honoring Imam Hussain (as) and the martyrs of Karbala through meaningful acts of charity. Every rescued fruit, every loaf of bread, and every bag of fresh vegetables represents hope for a family and a reminder that true remembrance is expressed through generosity and service.
Under the guidance and inspiration of Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi QS, FZHH continues to expand its humanitarian efforts both locally and internationally, bringing relief to those who need it most.
