🌹 Urs Mubarak — Honoring the Awliya Through Service to Humanity 🇨🇦
In commemoration of the blessed Urs Mubarak of Mawlana Shah Naqshband (Q) and Mawlana Abu Muhammad al-Madani (Q), volunteers of Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) distributed sandwiches and a variety of refreshing drinks to homeless and less-privileged people living on the streets of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside (DTES).
Urs Mubarak—the anniversary of the passing of these great Awliya—is an opportunity not only to remember their blessed lives and teachings, but also to carry their legacy forward through compassion, generosity, and service to Allah's creation.
For someone struggling on the streets, a sandwich and a drink may seem simple, but they can mean nourishment, dignity, kindness, and the reassurance that someone cares.
Under the guidance and inspiration of Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi QS, FZHH strives to turn spiritual teachings into meaningful action—serving those in need locally while supporting humanitarian projects around the world.
