❤️ Ashura & Shuhada-e-Karbala Food Relief Series #4 🇨🇦
Alhamdulillah, in honor of Ashura, Imam Hussain (as), and the blessed Shuhada-e-Karbala, the volunteers of Fatima Zahra Helping Hand (FZHH) continued their mission of serving humanity by distributing 700 pre-packaged nutritious sandwiches and treats, along with dozens of chilled water bottles and yogurt drinks, to less privileged members of the community living on the streets of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside (DTES).
As temperatures rise and many struggle to access basic necessities, these simple acts of kindness provide not only nourishment and hydration but also dignity, compassion, and hope to those facing hardship.
This marks Food Relief Series #4 in our ongoing Ashura and Shuhada-e-Karbala campaign. The legacy of Karbala is not merely remembered through words, but through service, sacrifice, generosity, and caring for those most in need. Every sandwich shared and every bottle of water distributed is a small expression of the values exemplified by Imam Hussain (as) and his noble companions.
Under the guidance and inspiration of Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi QS, these charitable efforts seek to transform remembrance into action and love into service.

Alhamdulillah, through the blessings of service and the inspiration of Imam Hussain (as) and the blessed Shuhada-e-Karbala, the volunteers of successfully rescued, sorted, repackaged, and distributed more than 500 pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables, various meats, bakery items, and dairy products to dozens of families in need throughout 🇨🇦.
This marks Food Relief Series #2 in a growing series of charitable initiatives dedicated to the love and remembrance of Imam Hussain (as) and the blessed Shuhada-e-Karbala. Their sacrifice continues to inspire believers to transform faith into action through generosity, compassion, and service to humanity.
Following the tremendous success of our first distribution, this second food rescue effort demonstrates how communities can come together to ensure that wholesome food reaches families who need it most instead of going to waste.
Under the guidance and inspiration of , these acts of service are part of a larger mission to bring hope, dignity, and relief to communities locally and globally.
